Trek 6500ZX Updated 9/12/06. This bike was stolen from my old apartment in shitty Allston, MA in July of '05. It was my fault for leaving it out unlocked overnight (doh!), but if you see it anywhere in Boston - please let me know. Man, how I miss that Liberator saddle. My old hardtail: '95 (?) Trek 6500ZX. It has served me quite well. The frame is US-made Easton Aluminum tubing (from before the times of Chinese-made recycled beer can frames). It underwent a major face lift one and a half seasons ago. The only parts from the original bike are the stem and the frame and maybe a few bolts. These are the current components:
08/24/04 - I just switched back to my Time ATAC clipless pedals because the Azonics are getting pretty bad. One side of both pedals has all the grips left but the other sides are missing a few. It appears that I favored one side more than the other. I'll take another closeup shot so you can really see how the teeth have been ripped out of the magnesium. Here are pics... |
