ESP 500W Subwoofer Amplifier My newest project is an Elliot Sound Products sub amplifier. This will be the first amplifier I have ever built. It uses four On Semi BJT transistors as the drivers and is supposed to deliver up to 500W with a powerful enough power supply. This page will contain information on both the amplifier and the power supply I'm building for it. This is the work area. You can see the partially finished amp on the soldering pad. You can also see the 800VA toroidal transformer that will be used for the amp's power supply. This is an upclose of the partially finished amp. It still needs the main drivers and a few other things. This is a general layout of the power supply and amp. They will be in two separate enclosures connected with banana pickup wires.
