Fisher 400 Stereo Amplifier Update: 9/28/05 I have mostly finished restoring the Fisher. However, it's for the second generation of receivers (which I have). The Fisher Doc instructions are for the first generation but will still provide a general guide of what needs to be done if you have a second generation. You can find almost all of the components at Mouser or Newark InOne. Using the Knight Tube Tester to test one of the 7868 outputs: Yes, I finally have a proper stereo. The magic radio eye even works. And, yeah, those output tubes, all original Fisher. Horror! And the finale...
